The North Adelaide Precinct Association (NAPA) is an independent voice representing the business owners, property owners and professional service providers of North Adelaide.
The Association, a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Adelaide City Council, formed in 2013 and comprises members from North Adelaide’s two main commercial quarters – O’Connell Street and Melbourne Street.
NAPA’s core objective is the creation and support of vibrant and prosperous environments in both the O’Connell and Melbourne Street precincts, for residents, business and visitors alike. Our activities include:
Advocacy to all levels of government on behalf of members and the broader precinct community, on issues such as the future development of North Adelaide, safety cleanliness and maintenance, social inclusion, arts and community funding, and planning issues.
Organising and supporting events that showcase, support and further build upon the cultural heritage of North Adelaide.
Collaborating with the City Council and our sister Precinct groups to further enhance the City of Adelaide’s status as both an outstanding tourist destination and one of the most liveable cities in the world.
Taking a leading role in fostering community and business engagement in the ongoing enhancement of the broader North Adelaide precinct.
